I've been to catch up (again) with an old friend.
This old friend got me and Kev together, so it was really hard going to her house again after so long...

There is so many things I remember, laying of the sofa listening to music talking well into the early hours, laughing, being wrapped around his body whist sat on the freeze somking, drink and snogging
Our 1st night together...

I wanna talk to him about these so much, just to see if he remembers, but I know I shouldn't dwell on the past, so hense why its going up here...to remember things as they were.

I promised myself not to dwel on 2008, but its hard.

I miss him so much, despite knowing this is the best thing for me.

2008 has been full of adventures, good times and bad times..

I'm trying to do this in order but not sure how it will work out!

I saw the Spice Girs at the 02 in January

I spent time with good Nanny friends

My gorgeous cousin Rachel got married

And after a drunken conversation I regained a relationship with my Dad.

I had to say goodbye to Sarah, who jetting to Canada.
She came back in the summer for a visit but its not the same :o(

I had the worlds worse holiday in Lanzarote (or lanzagrotty!)
I mean there were good times in the 2 weeks but it cost me over £1000 and I think about it and it was generally awful.

My brother Jack (10) and I spend a day in ond visiting the Tower of London and the London Eye

As scary as it was, a fear overcome!

I spent some time up in Huddersfield visiting my dad, step mum and brother H (13)
The then headed to Leeds to visit my Auntie Jo Jo and found my HUGE love for Jo Malone!

I wrote off my Seat Leon :o(
1st accident!

and had to sit in an ambuance (1st time!)

I went on the RAGE in Southend..TWICE!

I played animal SOS

We had 2 litters of beautiful Kittens :o)

I spent more time with my family up north.

I started a veggie patch and grew oads of veg, but mainly pumpkins!

I statred and fell in love with scrapbooking!

I caught up with old friends and there babies,

I made LOADS of new nanny friends, some who have been a great suport!

I went to the NTA 2008

I took my sister to see Wicked :o)

We also spent a day looking around the NHM in London

I TOTALLY fell in love with it, its an amazing show! I also saw it again in Dec with Laura for her Birthday!

My babies grew up, S turned 6 and I turned 3.
S had some friends round for a roast lamb dinner and India had a HUGE Dora party with all her friends!

I have alot to be thankful for, and a lot to look bad on and feel sad.
After nearly 3 years Kevin and I broke up, at the time of writing its been about a month apart and generally day to day I feel ok, but at the same time I miss him very much.
I have not only lost him, I have lost the relationship with his children, they are no longer interested in me, which is heart breaking.
Hense why I haven't added so much Kevin activities of 2008, not because they were bad time, but because I don't need to remember those any more.
The love is still VERY much there but some things just aren't meant to be :o(

2009 will no doubt bring more good times and more bad, but whatever happens I'm going to make the most of it, make more time for friends, gym more too loose all this fat! enjoy every moment I have with the girls, after all...who knows where I might end up going!

Why do we always let people slip away and then leave it so long to catch up?
Boyfriends, work and just generally life.
Over the past few weeks I have spent A LOT of time catching up with very good friends.
Christmas eve was Rachael and her HUSBAND and son Charlie, we had such a good gossip about old times and times a head of us, and I really wish we hadn't lost all those years!
I have also been to see Caroline, Andy, AJ16months and the Twins M&O 5months and had a wonderful day with them all, feeding, burping and bathing...I shouldn't leave that so long as the boys are so lovely and I have great fun with them!
Also Leanne I went to college with and her son Harvey...who was gorgeous!

I feel very blessed I have the time now to spend with these important people in my life, lets hope the next year is full of more visits, cuddles, kisses and happy times.

Hello everyone.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS, ok a little later but I didn't want to come on yesterday and no doubt no one would have on here!

I hope everyone had a great day and got totaly spoilt.
I went up to Huddersfield to spend Christmas with my dad, step mum and brother H13.

Its been a really lovely time, if not maybe a little emotional.
I really missed Kev, but delt with it well.

I got a lovely necklace from my sister-a joint birthday present, loads of scrapbooking stuff which I will post up later.

I'm not the biggest Christmas fan, but Sunday I did my Santa bit and dropped off some presents to my friends beautiful babies.

Christmas really is about 2 things,
1) The Children
and
2) Giving

The children really loved their gifts and I had such a lovely time playing with the Dora puzzle I brought Caitlyn :o)

Kids make this time of the year!

Today I have also caught up with an old schol friend that I haven't seen since leaving school oh so many years ago!
She hasn't changed and her son is LOVELY, I feel truly lucky to have these people in my life!

I'm coping ok without Kev, don't get me wrong, I miss him like mad, but nothing could make me WANT to go back to that 'relationship'. The girls have decided not to have anything more to do with me, which is heartbreaking, but I guess predictable.
I get moments where I feel very alone, and just want to be cuddled, and loved, but have found alot of comfort in some very good friends.
I wish him all the best of luck in his life, I still care alot for him, 3 years together doesn't mean you just stop caring...
Hmmmmmmmm, thoughts.......

I'm off to Huddersfield tonight, wish me luck for my drive!

Snow Patrol

This is MY song of the moment.
I have always been a Snow Patrol fan, I love there Eyes Wide Open album

This song, makes me smile.
It makes me think of Kev, laying there, together, like nothing else in the world will ever touch us, praying that every second will last longer. Feeling 110% safe tucked up in his arms, smelling his body, sharing body heat, bodies just fitting together perfectly.
Thinking of it fills me with mixed emotions. 3 years is a long time to just stop loving someone but I KNOW we can't be together, give it another 2 weeks and I know things will be easier. At the same time I long to feel and secure and safe wrapped in his arms.

Its amazing how much stronger I feel as a person this time around.
I have the gym keeping me busy, and have found friends in the most unlikely people.
Yes i've had 2 men disarsters in 2 weeks but isn't that half the fun?!?
I just have to count myself lucky I have the people I have!

The week has just flown by.
Monday I was at the gym
Tuesday I was at a workshop from 7.30-10, I made 4 pages and one of the other ladies there made 3 yes count them 3 lables! ha ha ha
Wednesday I went swimming at the gym on my own!!! I managed 30 lengths in 30mins
Friday I took India swimming at the gym for the mother and tots swim...it was so quiet so India and I swam for 45mins, I got a fair few lenghts done but not as many as I would have liked!
Then I took Kev out for dinner and to see James Bond at the Cinema to cheer him up after having some bad news that he'd been made redundant again :o(
Not only that but is Great Nan Rene had been admitted to hospital :o(
Fingers crossed everything will work out.

The gym.

Last night I went to the gym for my Health Check.
Before my HC I went and swam for 30mins or so....blimy! Am I feeling tired today! lol
I swim most weeks with I3 and we generally stay in the pool for 1 1/2 - 2 hours coz we have good fun, but that is NOTHING compared to 30mins of purely up and down swimming! LOL

HC went without any issuse, yes i'm obease at 5'6 and just under 16st (apprantly scales at home were out a little!)

Next tuesday I have my 1-2-1 to complete a programme of best equipment to use...how exciting!

Also I hit 'The Range' in Colchester on Friday and brought a carrier for when I go out to my workshops...tonight for example.
Didn't really find too much else I fancied. Weather it was because I have too much going on I can't think past the projects i'm working on?

Saturday I ventred into Epping where a friend was holding a card sale. I picked up some really lovely cards (only spent £16!!!!)

I need to get some pictures added at some point but I have a busy week ahead.
Scrapbooking, gym, Kev's, gym and Saturday is my Birthday Disney night out!!!!

This month in the NHH magazine I had 3 articles, my usual fact file then Lyndsey told me late one night she was a few articles short, so I whipped up Social Networking as a Nanny and the Crafty Christmas Count down.

I'm so pleased with how the articles turned out! :o)

Can't wait till next issue, and to get writting for it! (Which should be now but I'm catching up on other things and debating going out to buy some scrap booking paper....)

We has such a good day, although long and cold!
We arrived at the RAH at 11.30 to get good spots on the red carpet.
We cheered when they were laying the red carpet! lol
I even got to take some home! (only coz I chatted nicely to the red carpet man, and thought it would be cool in a scrap book!!!)
I got over 25 autographs, not that I know who half of them are from!
But got Ned from Neighbours and Mark from Ugly Betty!!!!!! :o)
(of course they are better than Louis Walsh! LOL)

We sat 2 rows in front of Anton from Stictly Come Dancing, who was over joyed at the show winnng over X-Factor. He was also with Nick from DIY SOS, Myleen Class and Gethin Jones (excuse spellings!)
Paris Hilton was also there and OMG is she something else! She presented the award then her and her ITV2 people left, but they weren't really paying much attention TBH.

My babies and I went Trick or Treating tonight.

We've done it early because I like doing it at 'home' where we know who's door we're knocking on, and today was the only day we're free this week...so we pre warned everyone and went of about 6o'clock after the skys opened up!!

HUGE thunder storns and a few miles away SNOW!!!!

We got a good lot of sweets and didn't get too wet, although VERY cold!

And the facepaint DID come off!!!!

The Big Toddle

So here are the 2 new LOs i've done today at my Creative memories Course.
The littlest I look after I3 did the Big Toddle at Colchester Zoo and wanted to use the Picture she drew of us and Big Todd and also the left over sticker.
So colours were pre-chosen by using the sticker. As unusual as they are I feel it works!
I'm happy with it!
BTW if you are wondering why I haven't done any of S6 its becaue i'm working on I3s album first!

Also on the left hand page there is a blank space I was going to carry the feet through on it. But remembered when sat on a friends look she has a wonderful poem on the wall

Christmas stocking

My sister and I haven't had stockings at Christmas for, 10years or so, ok granted we are 26 & 24 but that it NOT the point. When did Christmas stop being fun?

So this year I have decided to do her lots of stocking presents, and made my own stocking for her!

I could just brought a stocking, but I thought in true fashion I should make her one! (we never buy cards for each other we make them...and they are usually naff and hand drawn on a bit of paper)

Its just a Tesco Value pillow case and some Woolworths 29p tinsle and a 'Merry Christmas' also from Woolworths for 29p!!!

Just hoping it puts a smile on her face!!!

I promise I am NOT advoiding doing the ironing!

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

A VERY good reason to NOT read UKS!!!!

5 minute Chocolate mug cake!

4 tablespoons flour

4 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

1 egg

3 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons oil

3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)

a small splash of vanilla extract

1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1 000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

*Personally I found my choc chips fell to the bottom and it was a little dry, but one to do with the kids who'd eat it with ice cream...where as i'm too fussy to eat with ice cream!

The 1st picture is something we had to do today on the course. Its made out of circle and heart punches...we all made different ones, but don't feel its the sort of thing I could use on a page, although one lady made a really lovely LO that I will take a pic of next week!

2nd picture is of my new LO which will work along with the 'Frinton' one...I felt it needed another colour on it, so used the yellow, which is in I3s swim suit.

I think it needs something else, but i'm doing some shells next week I think...

We have NOTHING to eat at work, I mean fridge is bare and I have no motivation to cook anything really, but needs must!

So I've whipped together an onion and garlic with a tin of chopped toms, added to cooked pasta with mozzarella, olive oil and basil.

I actually feel a little envious of the children who are happily tucking into it, it looks yummy!

Of my Kev for doing the right thing for us all!
Due to the *dare I say it* Credit Crunch, Kev hasn't been doing so well at work, not many people want to buy a new car, let alone a new Lexus! So poor old Kev is earning s**t all, which doesn't do his stress related hair loss much good as he isn't earning enough to provid for his children.

Well today he went for an Interveiw and was offered the job!

Monday-Friday! Yeh yeh yeh, means we might get some time together too!
Not really sure what he'll be doing, but money is going to be better after the 3 months probation period!

Today I finished my LO, added just a simple sandy 'frinton' which is where the pictures were taken.
I didn't feel it needed anything else. Here is my 2nd LO 'Lazy Days' , I'm not so sure I like it. The paper was from a Creative Memories set we were given as part of our course. I like it, just not sure it suits the pictures.
The pink square is to eventually add some writing about the day.

I also treated myself to the Creative Memories Powersort box. Just the small one, but enough for my photo's at the moment!

Inside it has 3 large pull put storage compartments and also seperators.

Then this morning I looked out my window again and found this site awaiting me. So last night it was lovely red colours and this morning the sun was appearing from over the trees casting shaddows across the fields with a slight mist over too.

After the news about Kev having to work Sunday, which is not only our 1st weekend alone together without the childre in about 6 weeks, but also the 1st weekend together, in what seems like FOREVER.
I was obviously a little upset!

I am now MEGA excited we're going to Southend Saturday evening for Chips and Dougnuts by the sea and an evening playing the 2p machines!
I can't WAIT!!!!

Also I'm not really that organised with Christmas, just saw the presents in the sales and picked them up to spread out the cost. I also have a HUGE list of things I have to buy.
I have NO idea what to buy for my Dad, Step Mum, Brother 13 and Step Dad, its a nightmare!!!

So i gave in, had one :o(
Feel so silly coz I'd done a whole day without one and then managed most of today.
I guess tomorrow I will try to patches, I just wish it was easier, although after 9 years I knew it would be hard!
Guess the stress just got to me...was so looking forwards to spending all day Sunday with K, but now he has to work, means I get a few hours Saturday night, after what 6weeks of having no time together :o(
On the plus side I am off work from 23rd Dec till the New Year! Whooooo! Love my job!!!!

Also its utter madness, I have brough a whole load of Christmas Presents and I'm debating wrapping them...do I need locking up?!!?!?

After nearly 9 years (9years on the 4th November) I have decided to attempt to give up smoking. The 1st time I tried I lasted a few months.

I'm not really sure why i'm giving up, health, money, work...but I'm hoping this won't put me off as usually I need a good reason to stop.

I haven't had one since 11ish last night so we're on 12hours and feeling the cravings.

If they get worse I will resort to using at patch, but at the moment I am going cold turkey...WISH ME LUCK

The 1st October meant the 4th edition of Nanny’s Helping Hand magazine, which I am now hoping to have a regular article in.
Last month I had an article about going on holiday with the families, which was a one off, but something I felt I needed to write as so many nannies think going on ‘holiday’ with families will be fun, but that’s not always the case. So I wanted people to be aware of the down sides too.

This month I was asked by the Editor of the magazine if I would write a regular article about facts on the month. This was due to her noticing my love of random fact shared on Facebook.
This month being October, I decided Halloween would be a good start.

I’ve been working on November’s fact file and have found some fun facts about Guy Fawkes and fire works. I have a few more bits I would like to add, as also in November is Remembrance Sunday, but so far its looking quite fun at the moment.
While looking for facts I came across this poem I liked

I maybe should have held onto it till November, but maybe someone might take a liking to it to and use it for something else.

I finally decided after 3 visits to The Paper Mill Shop (in Braintree Freeport) that I was going to buy the Xcut templates and blades, with my Loyalty Card I got £10 off so the 3 templates and the cutter with 2 blades cost me £4.99 BARGIN!
If I don’t get on with them then I shall just buy the Creative Memories one I have been using while doing the course, but at about £30 for the cutters and then an additional £14 for the templates I thought this might be a cheaper way.
I have the oval templates, but the square ones (well sort of they have rounded corners) are only £4.99 so might buy some of those at a later date if I decide I like the Xcut.

I have a busy week ahead of me, sorting out children’s clothes, and I might even try to make a start on sorting the toys out AGAIN…although maybe that could wait till a little closer to Christmas??!!!
I need to get cracking on the ‘create your own calendar’ with the girls as that is Mummy and Daddies Christmas present this year. I also want to make Christmas cards with India for her friends, and need to work on invites for our children’s Christmas Party.
Worked out numbers of about 40 children…going to have to find a way to cut it down, but how do you choose????
This year I plan to make the nannies buy there charges the Santa present and also bring a plate of food. I think it makes more sense as the last 2 years I’ve been out of pocket from throwing a party for all the nannies. I will still provide the activities and host it, but just want people to be more willing to help out!

Here is my first LO from my Creative Memories Course.
We spent the 1st 1/2 of the lesson learning about boarders, then used more tools then put our 1st LO together.
I'm hoping Eventually this will be a double page spread, as I have a few more pics to join in.
Its obviously missing a title but we're moving onto that next week!
I wasn't overly sure on the colours, but once it was all layed out on the page I felt it was perfect, the sandy colour mouting the pictures and the bright blue reflecting the blue of the sky.

I'm loving the course so much!

Decided 99% sure that i'm going up north for Christmas, It will be the 1st time in about 10 years so really excited about it.
I've also started Christmas shopping...how sad! lol
But in fairness as I get paid the 24th of each month I really only have 2 pay days till Christmas! So Hawkins Bazzar got my hard earnt money today on some fun stocking present type things!

'The Works' had some cool bits and had to resist bying scrapbooking stuff even though it was cheap! Although tempted to buy the HSM scrapbook album for S6....lets hope its still there when i decide!

Grrrrrr! in the last 3 days I have had the internet for 5mins....last night!
So I drove over to my mums just to steal the internet!
Hoping the problem will be solved by Friday when we get the new BT homehub thing...who knows!

I went into the paper mill shop during the week and i'm debating getting there version of the creative memories cutters...although not sure they will cut through photos...I guess its only £14.99 and I have £10 off voucher. So worth getting for £4.99?!?!?

Had my implant replaced Tuesday, was like being suck in a Saw movie...the local anesthetic was given to me, then the doctor went to make the cut...I felt it! :o(
So had to have more local anesthetic, then doctor went off to give it more time to 'work'
Luckily that did the trick and all the rest went smoothly!
Its still tender today, but don't think i should have got it so wet this morning!

Think that about it...another creative course tomorrow..can't wait! Got my photos ready...all of I3 but i'm sure I could make some good LOs with them! :o)

I became a nanny for the love of the job. I have, in a school report, in my personal statement at the age of 10 'I want to be a nanny when i grow up'
And thats what I've done, and I've had good jobs and bad jobs.
For me, if I wanted to earn mega money I would have done something more worth while...a lawer, doctor, not that I really have the brain for it...but would have done if I wanted to earn mega money.

Soooooo here is my rant...selfish, fresh out of college/no expereince so called 'Nannies' who in Essex expect to earn £500+ PER WEEK!

Nannies in Essex are lucky to earn £350per week. Go to London if you THINK you can get more with NO EXPERIENCE...I'd really like to see you try!

VERY few Essex nannies earn PER HOUR for a full time nanny job, it workd on a weekly/monthly wage

Today myself and a friend E went to London for the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking show.
It was great, got a few nice bits, but think there was too much there to know what to buy!!! ha ha ha
I got a 12x12 case for my paper, halloween stickers and bits, some really lovely wooden buttons, paper tearing ruler, tags and some pens.
On the way home we stopped off at Platform 9 3/4 ....so sad, but it had to be done since we were passing!

All in all a nice day, just gonna chill out this evening and hopefully feel better in the morning!

So this week has certainly had its ups and downs.

I am feeling confused but I know whats the best, and will always stand by that choice.

Been to the zoo again today and poor old I3 was poorly :o(

But managed to get all my jobs done! Phew *sigh of relief!*

I want...no NEEEEEEEEEEED so many of the tools! I can feel myself pending too much money! lol

Today, today has been a good day…but bad in many ways too.

I look at myself and think…if only.

I’m confused as to who I am and what I’m meant to be doing with life…

I love K, but my feelings for him are ever changing, I miss the butterflies and the excitement of seeing the one person you think about all the time…the checking the phone every 20mins to see if they’ve text and waiting till they ask you out.
I know relationships change, but why so much?
Why do I now feel like this old woman who sits in every night of the week, doing homework and wasting my life with the brain-dead box!
But then there are some nights and I love getting into bed and snuggling, or watching a film with the girls and even feel really pleased they ask for my help with homework…although not sure why me! Ha ha ha!

I don’t feel I have any real ‘friends’ I mean I have friends, and a lot of them, but where are they when you need them?
Maybe it’s just me, maybe I actually am a horrible person, and I mean that’s what people say, so maybe that’s true?
A friend recently asked me why I bothered talking about K to her…and made it very clear she wasn’t interested…and it hurt, but good on her for actually saying it!
Then other friends are there when they need/want something from me. Which is the main reason I’ve sort of pulled away from them all?

Then there is G, and I have no idea where I stand with all that, or what I’m expecting…I was sooo chuffed to have seen him today, but worry that I come over as a complete stalker coz I’m forever at the zoo, obviously looks weird now that I know G works there! But I have always abused the Gold Card…I mean that’s why we have one!! Its not like I’m driving MILES to get to the zoo!
The confusion! (*rolls eyes*)

Found out my mother is still in contact with ‘the other man’ and I’m feeling upset she didn’t talk to me about this before. But maybe ‘understand’ more now than I ever did…

I love my job, but where is it going? This time next year, no doubt I will join all the unemployed nannies, well actually I’ll go back to working at the hospital, and if they don’t want me I certainly would hang around waiting for a job to find me!
I want to do something, something so out of character that it will shock everyone! Just what? I’m too comfortable in my little bubble…not that it’s much of a bubble! Nannying abroad? Travel round the world? Pack up and move up North? Change in job?
So much for the change in life style! Hoping the change of hormones next week will help a little with the mood, or maybe a good nights sleep tomorrow night!

Getting ready for the NTA's!
Whooooop!

I went last year for the 1st time, and totally wasn't prepared. I left my memory card at home, after charging the battery up, and I didn't have a pen or paper to get autographs :o(

This year i'm taking sister C15 and her friend H15, as well as going with L, her brother and his mates.

We're going to be soooooo prepared! Getting there far to early, to get a good patch next to the red carpet, hanging around all day, come rain or shine (hoping for shine!) Pens, notebook, camera, spare battery, mega huge memory card...

C15 is hoping for David Tennant to be there as she loves him! I saw him last year and she was gutted...also hoping for Harry Hill maybe.
Me I don't really know, I don't really watch soaps so I will just go with the flow and see what happens!
I didn't even watch BB this year to know who any of those would be!

So i've been working on a card for a friend.
I asked on UKScrappers for help and NO ONE was helpful.
So my poor sister was roped into listening to my ideas!

Its a little on the blury side as I took it with my phone, which doesn't seem to be working! lol!

I love it, and hope my friend will.

The idea of the shell is that when we first met we went to Frinton and I picked up the shell...so I'm chuffed! lol

Pumpkins are looking GREAT!

I'm really chuffed as there are sooooooo many growing now but this is by far the biggest!

The peppers bless them have been over shaddowed by the pumpkins, but I really didn't realise HOW big the whole plant would grow!

I ate a carrot the other day, and despite being small it was really tasty!

And as for the corn...I don't really know whats happening with that, guess I need to pick another one to check if the inside has grown yet?
Any ideas?

Ohhhh also got 2 tiny stupid looking runner beans on the plant S6 grew at school and I tried to kill by pulling the roots out! lol thats not really how it happened! It was stuck in the glass jar!!!

Had a lovely afternoon at the zoo with I3, who kept telling me..."I'm having a lovely day at the zoo Sarah' despite the fact we did the zoo Wednesday too! Nothing like abusing the Gold Card!

Still feeling rough, can't sleep!
Feel really bad I let down my friend L tonight, but didn't want to feel akward as I was sick last night and I hate being sick at home, let alone in someone elses house :o(

For a week now my boobs have hurt, seem to have doubled in size and have had almost period like pains...although not had one of those for 18months since having the Implant put in.
So today after having spoke to some friends and read the stuff better on the implant I decided to do a pregnacy test.
It was negitive, which in all honesty i'm pleased about as I really don't need a baby right now...relationship wise, money wise...just not in that place...although actually would love one...so today I am feeling mixed emotions from gutted that i'm not pregnant to worried why I feel so awful and thankful i'm not pregnant!

To top that off...I had to do a weekly shop with £20!!! Clean the house as it was awful and our cleaner is away...I've done well hanging out this long!!!!
I had to pick S6 up from school at 11 as she was 'ill' but after being sick has been full of bean! grrrrrrrr

What a day...will be pleased to go to bed! lol

So it’s been a while since I last blogged.
The main reason for this is the internet has been down at work – I mean how can people treat there nanny like this!!! Lol, its not a huge problem, I don’t really watch T.V so finding it a real struggle, but managing on an hour of Friends then some other rubbish…some times even Friends on DVD!
The weekend just sort of flashed by. I babysat Friday night, slept in till 12 Saturday…well needed after working Sunday 3pm – Friday 11.30pm!!!
Saturday night I brought K’s mum some flowers and pudding for after dinner. She hardly acknowledged the fact I’d tried to do something nice… *rolls eyes*
But I ignore it and had a nice evening watching a film all snuggled up in bed with K and his girls.
I’m very confused over me and K, I love him, I really do, but I’m so fed up with never having any quality time with him, it makes life very difficult having a relationship with someone you don’t actually see much of.

Things are pretty much so, so. Work is crazy. MB is away in New York we are 2 days into the 2nd week, thankfully she’ll be home this weekend. DB hasn’t been too bad, but there have been forms that needed filling out and cheques that have needed writing but none of those have been done. House has actually been on the tidy side, which is good, means I haven’t had to worry too much.
S6 started back at school last Friday, so we’re getting back into a ‘normal’ routine and doing last minute things (like buying school shirts and sewing name tags onto a recorder-oh fun, fun, fun!) But can’t wait till the term is well and truly in and I get use to getting up at the ridicules time of 6.30!

Sunday 15th I spend a lovely day in Frinton, it was a little chilly but the sun shone and warmed it up. Met a friend that I had been emailing off gumtree…yes I’m that sad I meet friends off gumtree. Anyway we chatted and chatted and laughed and laughed, and I really feel I’ve found a good friend.
Can’t wait until the next meet and hope I wasn’t too mad that they don’t want to see me again! lol

I took S6’s stabiliser off Monday 16th – She’s been riding with one for a while, but noticed she is riding on the wonk!!! So a 5/6 runs up and down the garden she is a fully fledged bike rider!!! Yeh I’m so proud!!

I start my scrap booking course next Thursday, K isn’t particularly happy with it, as it mean we won’t be ‘spending any time together’ ironic really!
But hey ho, I want to do the course and I’ve paid for it so I now HAVE to do it! I can’t wait!

Garden growing nicely, pumpkins are getting big, we now have half a dozen reasonable sized pumpkins!!! Halloween here we come!
Totally fed up of tomatoes, they are yummy and really sweet but I’ve eaten them for about 6 weeks now and we have HUGE amounts of them left!
Cucumber plants are yellowing a bit, not sure why but going to feed them plant food tomorrow and hope they pick up. We still have some more left on there we are waiting to grow bigger.

It was rather sour at the ends...but very tasty in the middle!

Sorry to all those UKScrappers and Vegetable gardeners who come to look at my blog for SB and veggie stuff!
Having not been at work its all gone to pot! Well hopefully till tomorrow when i get back into my normal routine!

Got to Ks last night and whats on the wall when you walk in the door? A happy happy old family photo of a holiday with Ks ex girlfriend in (the mother of his children)...then I get shown the girls room...what is in there? Thats right Pics of K the girls and HER again!

Thing that makes me laugh is the K's mum HATES E (the mother of the children) so makes me wonder HOW much she hates me as I couldn't even make it in the Lanarote holiday pics on the fridge!

K won't talk to me about it as it upsets him...apprantly I can't be upset about it!

I spent a while cooking a nice chilli, one with beans for me and his mum and one without for K and his dad.
She sat there with a face like a slapped backside and was so ungratful...so I got drunk, which doesn't take alot coz I don't usually drink!

Its makes me sooooooooo cross. And I realise he doesn't want to talk about it coz it stresses him out but I need to talk about it!!!

R on the left is about to start year 5, G is going up to year 2 and my baby who was 8weeks old when i started is about to start school!!!!

I had a great conversation with them all today on the phone and I am so sad I haven't been in touch for so long...I miss them :o(

I got back from Leeds yesterday, after a journey that took me 45mins longer than expected due to the fact I stopped at the scene of an accident I witnessed.
I felt it was the right thing to do and i'm pleased that I stopped, just coz I know that the people in the car and the Lorry driver were all ok.
Still cross no one else stopped to help.

Had a lovely time in Leeds with my Aunty Jo, despite the weather being on the miserable side. We went shopping in Leeds which has a Jo Malone!!! and Molton Brown shop! Luckily I didn't spend too much money!!! :o)

Last night K and I went out to the pub, had a few drinks, few games of darts and it was so lovely. I love spending time with him just mucking about and talking. We had lots of fun!!!! :o)

I'm off to his tonight, which i'm nervous about. I know his mum hates me, so just worried about how shes going to be with me.

I know people have their doubts, but we truly love each other and want to give things another go :o)
And the people who have doubts aren't in the realtionship...in fact one of them has never been in a relationship! So despite having bad times, we have some good times and we love each other!

Going back to watch Jerry Springer! Oh yes!!! Its Saturday and Jerry Springer is the way to go!!!!!!

Feeling really blah tonight....

So sad to be leaving my dads, wish I could stay up here longer, but i've obviously made plans to visit my aunt and can't let her down.

Got a old friend who i hear is really depressed tonight, and I just wanna email her and say...It WILL be ok. Just chill out and enjoy what you have at the moment!

Things with K are going great this week, despite not seeing him at all!!!
Just can't WAIT to get back home with him...although not looking forwards to having to tell his mum she's a bitch, and I don't care if she hates me! ha ha

He also brought me a dress for an upcoming wedding...not sure how it will look on, but will give it a go...can't hurt can it. Always got the fall back trousers!

Today I have no get up and go again to Scrapbook.
Got an album to finsh for next Friday and I just can't find what I want to finish it! Grrrrrr
Where has my mojo gone? Can anyone find it?

I'm missing my veggie patch, my babies. I wonder how well they have grown or if they have been attacked by the wildlife?
Still trying to work out what to plant next, Garlic is as far as I got!

Today we went to the pub for breakfast and at 10.30 the pub was really busy! I mean REALLY busy! So we spent the meal hiding from 'Nick' who was drunk and chatting to us last time I was up, and also hiding from 'Paddy' who was chatting me up Thursday night! But was nice speanding time all together!

Then we headed off to Wigan to visit Step mums, Mum.
She's in a care home and loosing her marbles, but KNOWS she loosing them, which is so sad.
We took her out for tea and cake, and then a walk.
On the walk we recreated some old photos

So today I have made my very 1st pie!

I've been desperate to make a pie for MONTHS but with cook books we have at work, I can't find any thing simple enough that the girls would eat, which is a real pain!

So while 'up norf' I have been taught, by my step mum, how to make a....Meat and Potato Pie!

10oz SR flour
2oz suet
3oz cooking marg

for the pastry

Thats mainly for my own reference so I can remember when I get home!

So i'm laying here with so much going on in my mind...

No chance of getting some sleep but need at least a few hours to make the drive up to Hudderfield tomorrow!
I've changed my original departure date, due to a change in plans...K isn't very well and as i'm not a nurse maid, so i'm going to leave early and sing my little heart out to Wicked ALL the way up norf! ha ha ha

Its a shame no one seems to be online coz although sleeply and thoughtful, I am in quiet a playful sort of mood...you know chucking things at my sis leaving random messages on peoples walls on facebook :o) real grown up sort of stuff!

I'm missing work like mad! I don't do 'bored' well and I guess thats why i'm not working and also not working gives me time to think...and thinking does no good! No good what-so-ever! lol

Guess if my battery on LT runs out I WILL have to sleep but apprantly got 30mins before that happens! ha ha ha

So what else can i chatter about?

So my Wicked LO has gone on hold for the time being and I have worked more on my album for my step mum.

I think, despite my 1st thoughts on the green paper, it works quite well...

I don't want to over do the LO's as they pictures are so beautiful and i think it will over shaddow them....but maybe it needs a title?

Can't work on it any more tonight, so put it away and will get it out when I feel I have so insperation

I've added a new banner....It has pictures of most the things in life I love

Obviously there is a picture of myself!
Then a picture of myself and the beautiful girls I look after S6 and I3, Love them to bits!
Darts...I love playing darts at the moment.
London Eye... I love London and having adventures in London!
Khan...I love watching Khan fight...I don't really do sports but love watching Khan!
Music...explains it all.
Laptop...again no need to explain!
Camera...I love taking pictures of EVERYTHING and I will admit to keeping most of the pictures I take!
Vegetable Garden...I love my little veggie plot, It gives me so much pleasure! :o)

I'm sure it will change as things pop into my head but for the moment I love it! :o)

My brother J10 found a baby hedgehog this evening.

I rang a vets hoping they would give me some advice on what to do with it...who to ring or something helpful.

They were GREAT, asked me to check the area it was found, just incase there was a disturbed nest and as its unual for a HH to just have one baby to look for others, then to bring it down to the vets who would then decide what to do with it.

We took it to the vets and they have kept it to hand rear, but will ring us to let us know how he's getting on.
